Fresh and Firm Capsicum, Eggplant and Bottle gourd were purchased from Local market and then transferred in to Agricultural Research Laboratory, Tathawade, Pune (MH) and kept them in Ecofrost Cold Storage (10°C and 93% RH) and at room temperature for the evaluation of storage and post-storage life and shelf life at ambient conditions. In Eggplant weight loss was decreased rapidly compared to Capsicum and Bottle gourd. There were no chilling injury and disease symptoms observed in all commodities throughout the storage period. Shelf life improved most for Bottle gourd followed by Capsicum and Eggplant. Storage life of Capsicum, Eggplant and Bottle gourd was observed 11 days, 5 days and 12 days respectively inside the Ecofrost (10°C and 93% RH). Shelf life at room temperature of Capsicum, Eggplant and Bottle Gourd was observed 3 days, 3 days and 3.5 days respectively.
