Abstract

The members of a team are the most valuable asset of any organization. They possess the qualities that help keep the company afloat in the industry. This is why it’s important for a company to properly manage and nurture their human resources. Without a proper talent management, employees will feel neglected and might opt to leave the company for better career ventures. Successful talent management will allow members of the company to grow alongside the organization they are in.Talent management is a business strategy that organizations hope will enable them to retain their topmost talented and skilled employees. Talent management also works to keep current employees and advance them to higher positions in the organization. This saves money that could otherwise be lost to high employee turnover.Now a days in every organization there is a need of talent management in order to compete with the competitive environment.Attempts have been made in this paper to highlight the importance of Talent management in retaining employees at workplace. The study in this paper is based on exploratory research based on the secondary data and information.
