Mass media refers to communication devices, which can be used to communicate and interact with a large number of audiences in different languages. There are normally two types of training media within a learning program. The first is the instructional setting or major media. The second is the delivery systems within the major medium.The aim of the study is to find the level of media utilization competency of primary school teachers. The investigator has adopted Survey method for the study, and data were collected using simple random sampling technique. Descriptive analysis, ‘t’, ‘F’, Chi square test and correlation techniques are used to analyse the data. The result of the study reveals that the level of media utilization competency of primary school teachers and academic achievement of primary school children are correlated significantly. Further, it was found that the level of media utilization competency of primary school teachers is found to be moderate.
