The insurance industry works on the principle of risky discussion. So what if we have/had a tool to rectify the risk that we have taken. Well, we have a tool called big data. Big data as many of us know by now which refers to the ever-increasing amount of digital information been stored and generated. ‘Models’ are been built which shows what is likely to happen shortly, based on the relationship between the variable and the collected data from the past. Insurers must set the price of premiums at a level which ensures them a profit by covering their risk but, also favors with the budget of the customer otherwise, they will go elsewhere
