Title

DEFECT CHARACTERIZATION OF Ca-DOPED MgO AND GAMMA IRRADIATED UNDOPED AND Ca-DOPED MgFe2O4 NANOCRYSTALS BY POSITRON ANNIHILATION SPECTROSCOPY

Abstract

I used positron annihilation method to analyse the defects in a sample. Using a software called PALSfit I could calculate the time it takes for positron to combine with an electron. The lifetime of the positron is proportional to the size of the defect in the sample. Electron momentum distribution was also found using Coincidence Doppler Broadenng Spectroscopy
