Title

NOVEL APPROACH FOR COOPERATIVE MASSIVE MIMO FOR 5G MOBILE SYSTEMS

Abstract

The future generation wireless data networks are 5G networks. it is address not only future capacity constraints and have better challenges to make network to reliability, coverage ,energy-saving, enhance the system efficiency, spectral efficiency and quality performance with current communication systems.so that in present system Massive MIMO offers most significant gains in wireless data rates and link reliability. It allows for data consumption from more users in a dense area without consuming any more radio spectrum or causing interference. in this technique results are few better dropped calls, a significant decrease in dead zones, and better quality data transmission, without spreading thin the increasingly scarce radio spectrum. CM-MIMO can meet a more uniform data rate among all users, improving the system performance for cell edge users. This paper considers a massive MIMO wireless cellular system with L cells. Each cell consists of one base station with M antennas and K users equipped with only one antenna for reduced complexity. Assume users use orthogonal pilot resources to acquire the Channel State Information [CSI] , system level simulation performance of Non-cooperative and cooperative massive MIMO systems for downlink performance based upon current LTE systems considering different numbers of antennas deployed in the base station by using eNODEB. It shows that through cooperation among base stations, system performance of cell edge users had been rapidly improved and better signal to noise ratio (SNR), low Bit Error Rate (BER) achieved in CM- MIMO than NCM- MIMO. The system simulation presented in view of the potential system performance that had achieved by cooperative massive MIMO technologies in 5G systems.
