Title

A Comparative Study on Employee Engagement in Public and Private Sector Banks (With Special Reference to Rayalaseema Region of Andhra Pradesh)

Abstract

Employee engagement is the level of commitment and implications an employee has for their organization and their values. An employee involved is aware of their business environment and works together with their colleagues to improve job performance for the benefit of the organization. It is a positive attitude of the employees towards the organization and its values. This article focuses on evaluation of three factors, namely "engagement", "level of employee engagement "and" employee engagement practices "that ultimately decide Employee participation in banks in the public and private sector. 333 interviewed by public sector banks and others 187 respondents from private sector banks were selected in randomized using a practical sampling technique. The factors that support employee participation are identified they are evaluated with descriptive statistics such as average and standard deviation and correlation of the moment of the Pearson product It is used to discover their mutual relationship. The chi-square test is also used to discover the association between the factors of employee engagement and the demographic and other variables of bank employees. Furthermore, appropriate suggestions for improvement are announced employee engagement in banks in the public and private sector.
