The purpose of this paper is to explore the perceptions of Panchayat Development Officers (PDOs) about the fund management difficulties in Grama Panchayats of Mandya District. The Interview Schedules were used to collect the opinion from the respondents. The sample size was 85 out of 200 issued. The hypotheses developed for the study have been tested using one sample t-test (parametric). The study found that there are some listed factors influencing fund management difficulties in Grama Panchayats.
