Cloud computing is a rising marketable infrastructure standard that promises to eliminate the need for maintaining expensive computing facilities by companies and institutes alike. The present prospect of the cloud market is, clients of AWS will increase by up to 25% depending on how frequently customers start and stop new EC2 instances. One of the biggest fears associated with cloud adoption is the runaway spending fear. So there is the need for the system/ tool that can give the solution for the most favourable usage of cloud resources to reduce the infrastructure cost on the private clouds like Amazon or Google as big companies are investing billions of money in buying cloud infrastructure. This paper gives a survey of different techniques used by the researchers for price reduction strategy.
