Title

Overview of Kotlin and Java for Android

Abstract

In the study presented in this outline the highlights and challenges of the Kotlin have been weighed against Java as a programming language for android development and some valuable insights on the language have been sourced .The two languages have been compared for the features they offer, their popularity, job prospects and market shares. Other criteria like compilation speed, LOC and size of application are disclosed by implementing and running the two versions of the application on android studio. The inference of the same will help developers and learners to make wise learning decisions.
