Title

Analysis of Solar Absorber Plate with different Groove Shape to Analyze Heat Transfer by Computational Fluid Dynamics

Abstract

Solar duct with solar absorber plate have several use in industrial and medical application, in this present investigation the solar absorber plate is structured in form of grooves instead of using the design of ribs with different shapes, finite volume analysis is performed and is predicted that formation of sub- laminar boundary layer is minimum as compared to ribs of transverse shaped in sinusoidal shaped groove, the present analysis is also performed in different shapes of grooves and compared together to find optimum configuration and heat transfer in solar absorber plate.
