The growing population has induced great stress on the natural resources and water being a life line to human survival is of no exception facing great anthropogenic stresses. Ground water which is acting as a one of water resource to millions world wide is also under hammer from the pollution aspects. In the present study an honest attempt has been made to study the several physico-chemical aspects of some ground water samples in the Anakapalli town of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh , India.
