The Hedychium flavescence plant, belonging to the Zingiberaceae family, is renowned for its medicinal properties, attributed to its diverse phytochemical constituents. This study focuses on the isolation and characterization of two major bioactive compounds, Coronarin D and Coronarin E, from Hedychium flavescence. Utilizing a combination of solvent extraction, chromatography, and spectroscopic techniques, we successfully isolated these compounds in their pure forms. The structures of Coronarin D and Coronarin E were elucidated using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Mass Spectrometry (MS), and Infrared Spectroscopy (IR). The study revealed that both compounds exhibit significant pharmacological activities, highlighting their potential therapeutic applications. This research not only contributes to the understanding of the phytochemistry of Hedychium flavescence but also paves the way for further pharmacological and clinical studies on Coronarin D and Coronarin E..
