Title

An Analysis of Yoga's Effects on Preservice Teachers' Physiological Factors

Abstract

The overarching goal of this study was to investigate the effects of yoga on a variety of physiological variables in preservice teachers. It was thought that yoga would significantly alter the physical characteristics of future educators. This study randomly selected thirty male preservice teachers from DIET, Thodupuzha, Idukki, with ages ranging from eighteen to twenty-one. This research used a randomised design with control and experimental groups that included pre- and post-tests. The subjects were randomly divided into two groups of fifteen. Only group 'A' engaged in any kind of training, whereas group 'B' did nothing but yoga. We collected the data before and after the twelve weeks of class. Analysis of Co-Variance (ANCOVA) and Scheffe's post hoc test were used to examine the data. A significance level of 0.05 was employed. It was observed that the six weeks of yoga have significantly increased the physiological variables of preservice teachers.
