Abstract

This paper explores the legacy of feminism in modern poetry, tracing the influence of Sylvia Plath and Kamala Das on contemporary poets. It examines how these trailblazers redefined poetic expression by addressing themes of identity, autonomy, and rebellion against patriarchal norms. By juxtaposing their contributions with modern feminist poetics, the paper highlights the evolving yet persistent struggles of women, revealing poetry as a dynamic medium for feminist discourse.
