This work is devoted to improving the electrical efficiency by reducing the rate of thermal energy of a photovoltaic/thermal system (PV/T). The temperature of solar cell is increased by the absorbed solar radiation that is not converted into electricity, causing a decrease in their electrical efficiency. In hybrid photovoltaic thermal (PVT) solar systems, the reduction of PV module temperature can be combined with useful PCM heating. Therefore, hybrid PVT systems can simultaneously provide electrical and thermal energy, achieving a higher energy conversion rate of the absorbed solar radiation. A PCM jacket were connected to the PV panel to extract the extra amount of heat from the PV cell and improving the efficiency. This study mentioned the different types of cooling technique used for PV panel cooling. A large scale of literature review on the different cooling technique and the PCM cooling technique were concentrated in this work
