A Review: Speed loss in pulley and belt drives
Abstract
In the earlier century and current industrial scenario, the transmission system is a vital part of mechanical engineering and played a critical role in the industrial revolution. A variable ratio changing pulley is designed in such a way to provide flexibility for the transmission of power and motion. A flexible pulley can be achieved in terms of using any belt like standard, non-standard, regular, irregular, v-type, and flat type belt. This innovation will help us to solve problems like cost-effective, reliable, durable, and easy to install on any transmission shaft for reducing complexity and also safe for users and the environment.
