-Indian Agriculture has always been a risky business subject to the vagaries of the weather. It is true but since time, farmers have devised measures to limit these risks. Now- a - days, though the problem of risk may be minimized some types of risks remains. Modern insurance sector can play a major role to reduce the risk considerably and safe guard the farmers. The present study aims model, Linear Growth rate, Coefficient of Variation and t-test statistics for fruitful analyses of agricultural insurance. to analyse the growth and fluctuations in agricultural insurance in Andhra Pradesh.
