The Purpose of the study: Aim of the study is to study is to investigate the morality thoughts and social awareness stated in Vivekasinthamani. Methodology: This study based on qualitative method and the Descriptive approach has been used. Main Findings: The result of the research revealed the morality practices of Vivekasinthamani, written in the 16th century of Tamil literary history, are highlighted. There is a large number of literature on morality in the Tamil Society. There is separate category of Ethic literature in Tamil literary world. In this way, it’s natural that Vivekasinthamani literature emerge in the Tamil traditional society. Therefore, the songs in Vivekasinthamani are structured both intellectually and morally for the daily life. Siirilakkiyam is the most common type of literature in Tamil literary world in 16th century. During this period, literatures such as Ula, Pillaitamil, Thoothu, and Parani were written Vivekasinthamani. The Tamil Society continue the Morality thoughts and social awareness in literature. Through the ages the goal of insisting moral thoughts is for the different kind of groups in the Tamil society. The morals that in the literature describes the backgrounds of social production. The benefit of this approach is that moral thinking, as articulated in the 16th century, is also used to legitimize the contemporary people's way of life. The researcher confirms this in this article on moral thinking and social awareness in Vivekasinthamani.
