This paper discusses its formal establishment as a field from antiquity to the 1950s. Over the past decade, AI has set milestones by making significant advances. It has led to advances in areas such as symbolic logic, machine learning, and neural networks. AI evolved again in the 21st century with advances in computing and algorithms. Today, AI affects a variety of fields, including healthcare, finance, and robotics. This paper highlights AI's development, major achievements, and its profound impact on technology and society.
