Title

COMPARATVE STUDY ON THE VOLUME EXPANSION OF MIXED CRYSTALS ( FexMg1-x)2SiO4 AND MgxCa1-xO AT HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR CONCENTRATION x.

Abstract

Our current work is aimed for the comparative study on the volume expansion of mixed metals under high temperature. The samples under study has been chosen as ( FexMg1-x)2SiO4 and MgxCa1-xO for the concentration values x=0.1 and x=0.25.It has long since been the topic of interest and desire of human-beings to have the exact idea of the thermal properties of the minerals and solids under the influence of high temperature[1-3]. The thermal properties under the investigation include the variation of thermal expansion co-efficient ( T¬), and bulk modulus KT with temperature and pressure.The theory of thermal expansion has a key role in explaining the high temperature behavior of solids for their wide use in geophysical applications[4-5]. This study gives idea in geochemical problems concerning with the analysis of upper mantle structure of the earth. This study is also essential to focus light on the thermo elastic and anhormonic properties of crystals, minerals and complex minerals.
