Title

Measurement of linear and mass attenuation coefficient of β-Naphthalene soluble in Ethanol at gamma ray energies 0.36 MeV

Abstract

The attenuation coefficient was calculated using the mixture rule for different concentration at 0.36 MeV. Photon absorption parameters such as linear attenuation and mass attenuation coefficient, determined at 0.36 MeV. The measured attenuation coefficient for the β-Naphthalene soluble in Ethanol solution is linearly increased with increase in concentration. The presented data on mass attenuation coefficient and related parameters of β-Naphthalene soluble in Ethanol at gamma ray energy 0.36 MeV, helpful in radiation physics ,dosimetry and technological applications.
