Stress is very common in today’s era and the business owners are facing immersive stress due to various factorsand the cost of stress takes many forms. These include absenteeism, high medical costs, accidents, the consequent cost of recruiting and training new workers and a decline in productivity. Many challenges in the work environment have resulted in higher job stress. These are characterized by heightened competition, exposure to pressure, lack of time, lack of space, continuous technological development and advancement, conflicting demands from organizational stakeholders, increased use of participatory management and computerization, greater uncertainty and others.The study was based on 500 valid responses received through the structured questionnaire. The questionnaire was reliable and valid by applying various statistical tests.
