Liquefaction has been a source of damage throw history, during the past two decades researchers have attempted to determine the parameters that could better define the liquefaction potential of a soil deposit. Liquefaction is a soil mechanics issue that frequently impacts structures that are upheld on soaked sand stores. Soil liquefaction has been responsible for extensive damage to buildings, bridges, pipelines and other critical infrastructure in many past earthquakes. The destructive effects of soil liquefaction were forcibly brought to the attention of engineers by the disastrous 1964 earthquake in Niigata, Japan. This paper presents an overall depiction of liquefaction and Recent utilized Methods of Mitigation. This review paper covers all basic knowledge and view of liquefaction. also, this review paper discusses the evaluation method test In-situ testing particularly CPT and SPT test.
