Opinion of the stakeholder about the No detention policy in secondary students
Abstract
Education is the Basic Need of the Human Being .It helps in the development of humans and country. Government of India has started many educational policy for the achievements of this goal that is minimum basic education for all. In the year, 2009 Government of India started the no detention policy ( Right to Education Act, no student can be failed or expelled from school till the completion of elementary education covering classes 1 to 8.The essence of the policy is that children should not be 'failed' and detained up to Class 8. ).The effect of no detention policy on students ,parents, teachers and on the principal has been studied (investigated) in this research.
