Title

Students Evaluation of Teachers- An Empirical Study on Higher Education Institutions in Karnataka

Abstract

Inthecompetitiveworldofbusinessandtechnology,studentsdonotjustacquiredegreesbutalsoskillsin classrooms.Mostpartofthetimeisspentwithincollegeportalsandtheyarethelargestandmostimportant stakeholdersineducationalecosystem.However,facultymembersarenotinsignificantwhencomparedtotheir importancetoo.Andeveryinstitutionprogresswhentheyhavefacultymembers,whoareexperienced,highlyqualified andcoulddeliverworldclassservice.Thestudyisanattempttounderstandfacultyperceptionofstudentfeedbackand evaluationsystem.Basedondemographicvariablesanalysisiscarriedoutonfactorsdeducedthroughfactoranalysis. Theresultsaresignificantwhenitcomestodifferenceinperceptionbasedonage,designation,qualification, departmentandgender.
