The advancement in Automobile sector has brought a serious change in the vehicle industry, but simultaneously challenged the environmental aspect. With increasing demand of people, the vast reserves of fossil fuels are ought to be emptied soon and due to which there is need of sustainable fuel to replace the petroleum products. When it comes to make our surrounding ecofriendly, we all must contribute towards it in one way or other. It is a ‘challenge and opportunity’ for the researchers to make our shift from synthetic fossil fuel-based oils towards harmless biofuels or bio lubricants. This study on Kusum oil and along with blending with Nanoparticles was done and sufficient changes were observed during the experiment in various physio-chemical properties of oil, which confirms the fact that Kusum oil can be used as potential Bio lubricant for the future EV’s. Rheological analysis of Kusum oil to provide a bio-lubricant for electric vehicles and was observed it was observed improvement of 15-20% in viscosity at lower shear rates.
