Abstract
The development of trade and commerce is not impossible without money. The term Numismatics denotes the study of Coins which requires knowledge in paleography, archaeology, epigraphy, and history. In ancient times the monetization of Kerala was under the power of regional rulers. This paper is a primary study of evaluating the Kerala coins in the Cochin and Malabar region in a comprehensive manner.
