abstract Domestic violence is a social disorder. Women are variously exploited, deprived and neglected in different sectors of the society. Exploitation can also be seen in the external environment, domestic abuse of women and exploitation of women is actually happening. In the event, women's human rights are constantly trampled by patriarchy within the family. This article discusses the various forms and means of violence against women. Prevention of Domestic Violence. Government of India has enacted various laws to prevent various forms of exploitation against these women. Prevention of Domestic Violence Act 2005 is one of these laws but despite this law, this domestic violence cannot stop in Indian society. Because domestic violence cannot be prevented, it is necessary to change the consciousness of education about the violence accepted by each individual and society outside the society.
