ABSTRACT This paper is an attempt to understand challenges faced by young entrepreneurs operating in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Odisha and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their business prospects. The study is based on the performance of young entrepreneurs before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, which is measured on the basis of three parameters i.e., Turnover, Number of Employees and Average Gross Salary. To analyze the phenomenon, paired t-test has been applied and the results have been interpreted accordingly. It was found that there is significant impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the business operations of young entrepreneurs in terms of all the three parameters. JEL Classification:M13
