Title

HISTORIC STEP:REMOVING OF ARTICLE 370

Abstract

Article 370 and 35(A) was removed on 5 August, 2019 which successfully nullified the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. The stage was being set for another tectonic shift: the ‘dilution’ of Article 370 of the Indian constitution and the bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir to create two union territories - Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
