Title

A Review of Millennial’s Workforce Management

Abstract

By 2025, millennials—who have already raised the potential of becoming leaders in domains other than technology—will account for 75% of the global workforce. Establishing the most successful interaction with millennial generation workforce is now a requirement of human resource management in all organizations. Managing Generation Y is a rising challenge for HR in any organization. Gen Y is the first generation to think and act with a global perspective; their lives are a part of a massive social media community. In order to feel positively motivated, Millennials appear to be more interested in creative and tough occupations that offer incentives and recognition. To communicate with the enormous majority of the employees, HR must first understand millennial expectations and behaviors. The present research is based on qualitative assessment of secondary data from credible sources, including the literature. This study aims to establish the importance of paying consideration to millennials in the workplace, as well as numerous tactics that HR should employ to retain and maximize the potential of this demographic. The study's findings showed that HR techniques such as internal branding, work-life balance, interaction, flexible work schedules, effectiveness, evaluation, leadership, remuneration, societal benefits, job security, training, and so on have a good impact on millennial generation employees.
