Abstract
Phoenix Sylvestris (Arecaceae family) is known as the Indian date palm, and it is identified as the main component of traditional medicine against various alignments. It has nutritional value throughout the world. It is a rich source of phenols, amino acids, flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids, terpenoids, dietary fibers, vitamins, and minerals. Different parts of the plant exhibit the medical properties of antipyretic, cardiotonic, laxative, diuretic, and antioxidant.
