In this article, we present a summary of what we expect to be several of the most pressing questions in artificial and computer intelligence research today (AI and CI). Although AI covers a variety of methods that allow machines to independently learn from data and functioning, CI is a way to achieve this by finding its niche in algorithms based on complex natural phenomena (including the working of the brain). The main issues in this paper are defined by five unique Rs: (i) streamlining, (ii) resilience, (iii) reproduction, (iv) realism, and (v) liability. Notably, as air is an essential element in biological life, it is introduced to mark a number of essential artificial life elements are required for long-term AI and CI sustainability with the term AIR5, Cumulative reference to the above mentioned five Rs. A short overview of every Rs presented to highlight their importance as pillars of future research in this area.
