Title

Female Education and Literacy at Remote Zilla Parishad Schools surrounding the village Susri in Yavatmal District of Maharashtra

Abstract

The paper presents the interpretation of the data received through a survey of Zilla Parishad and other government-run schools in the remote, underdeveloped and small villages of the district Yavatmal of Maharashtra. The motto of the survey was to identify the issues pertaining to the school-going girls of these villages and to verify the implementation of the Right to Education and Acts specified in Articles 21, 21A, 41, 45, 46, 47, and 15(3). Also, the effect of the overall culture on the school and its teaching-learning process was examined.
