Title

“A study to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding Uterine Prolapse among Multiparous women in selected rural areas, Rohtas.”

Abstract

A study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding Uterine Prolapse among Multiparous women in selected rural areas, Rohtas. The sample size of this study comprised of 100 multiparous women. Non probability convenience sampling technique was considered appropriate for this study. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The finding revealed the post – test mean knowledge score was found higher (80.16%) when compared with pre- test mean knowledge score (23.40%). The pre test mean knowledge score is 23.40 and standard deviation is 1493. Post test mean knowledge is found to be 80.16 and standard deviation is 1.1945 Enhancement is 42% and statistical paired t-test value is 36.5. The statistical paired 't' test indicated the enhancement in the mean knowledge score found to be significant at 5% level for all the aspects under study.
