ANALYSIS OF TEACHERS’ ROLE WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO INSTILLING MORAL EDUCATION TO STUDENTS

Abstract

Humans are a social creature that requires the support of others to survive, and values assist them in this Endeavour. Respect, affection, appreciation, love, and many more things toward another person are examples of human values. Schools are one of the most significant venues for children to spend the most of their time and learn the majority of their skills, whether through the curriculum, teachers, or peers. Religion was only deemed vital in our society in ancient times. As a result, the education system was heavily influenced by religion, and people learned in Gurukuls or Ashrams. However, as time passed, a contemporary education system was implemented, and the concept of value and the methods for instilling it evolved as well. Values-based education, when implemented in schools, creates a secure and strong learning environment that enhances academic accomplishment while also instilling social and relationship skills that assist students to continue to grow. School is an important part of any student's life and has a huge impact on their morale and personality development. Teachers and friends are the two people who have a significant influence on the development of our values in schools.
