Abstract

Higher plants are the source of a large number of chemicals with wide range of medicinal, pharmacological and insecticidal properties. In recent years there is a great demand for plant-based products because of the broad biological activities, safety without any toxic side effects and low impact on environment. Gymnema sylvestre R.
