Title

“A quasi-experimental study to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding road safety measures among the students in selected schools of district Patiala, Punjab.”

Abstract

Current quasi experimental study was conducted among students of age group 14 to 17 years studying in 10th class in selected Government Schools of Patiala, Punjab. Convenient sampling technique was used to allocate the samples and data were collected with the help of self structured knowledge questionnaire. Findings of the study revealed that The highest knowledge scores on the first levels (i.e., very good) indicated that 92% students scored in post-test followed by STP and on the second highest level (i.e., good) 90% subjects scored in pre-test. in the non-experimental group on the highest level of knowledge score (i.e., very good) did not score in both levels of pre-test and post-test scores ranging between 31-40. On the second highest level (i.e., good) the 86% subjects scored in pre-test and 98% subjects scored in post-test.
