Since the Vedic era, metals and minerals have been employed as medicine. Churna, Ayaskruti, and Bhasma are all examples of how they're employed. The method of maran, or incineration, is used to make bhasma. Before the maran process, a purification step known as shodhan must be completed. Loha is a metallic bhasma that is extensively utilised in the treatment of many ailments such as Kamla, Pandu, Sthaulya, Ashokrao Prameha, Netravikar, and Shotha. Loha shodhan was completed according to the text. Shodhit Loha was triturated with kumari swaras after being combined with shuddha Hingula. For the maran process, Chakrika was made and Gajaputa Agni was supplied. Maran was completed seven times. For the maran process, agni was supplied. Maran was completed seven times. The physicochemical analysis of the prepared bhasma was performed, and the findings were compared to the Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India's standard values. The current study offers details on the pharmacological processes of Loha shodhan and Loha maran, as well as a physicochemical examination of Loha bhasma. This article's material might be useful for future studies on the pharmacological and analytical aspects of Loha bhasma.
