Abstract

As present day grid is transferring to the smart grid, the major part to be emphasis is on demand side management. This was the only thing missing in contemporary power system. In the demand side management the major role is played by demand response. The demand response has the capabilities to flatten the load curve and peak reduction, valSley filling, etc. But the bottleneck in implementation of demand response i.e. participation of customers in demand response is very low.
