The individual component that makes up the turbine section of a gas turbine is the gas turbine blades. The main objective of this work is to investigate the thermal stress and thermal distribution over a turbine impeller. The static and thermal study of a gas turbine impeller is the main subject of this analytical research. The main framework includes the modelling and analysis of the impeller in CATIA V5 and ANSYS Workbench software (Static and Steady state thermal workspace standalone) packages respectively. To examine the turbine impeller at a specific pressure and temperature and determine various parameters such as Total Heat Flux, Equivalent Stress, Equivalent Elastic Strain, Total Deformation, and Maximum principal stress of gas turbine impeller and by varying different materials such as Titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V), INCONEL 617 alloy, NIMONIC 80 A and making an attempt to compare these materials and propose the best suitable material at sever conditions.
