“Human Migration” is one of the most important aspects of social sciences. A closed relation of migration has always been maintained with mankind from its earliest stage. The historical background of developing and developed part of the world shows the unbalanced utilization of resources which ultimately lead to imbalanced distribution of population which caused the migration of people who shifts from an underdeveloped region to a developing or developed region. this paper discuss about the causes and consequences of migration and also explains various types and theories of migration including various other factors which drives migration at a larger pace.
