Title

“Incidence and severity of mental health problems during covid-19 pandemic among people”

Abstract

ABSTRACT The global COVID-19 pandemic has generated major mental and psychological health problems globally. This pandemic proved to be a major health crisis that has changed the lifetime of millions globally. The novel corona-virus 2019 (COVID-19) has become an epidemic affecting health and well-being globally. In addition, with physical, social and economic health, psychological impacts of this disease are progressively being stated within the scientific studies. During this systematic review and meta-analysis, articles focusing on the prevalence of stress and anxiety in the general population during the COVID-19 pandemic include Science Direct, Embase, Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science (ISI), and the Google Scholar database. It was searched in. Until May 2021 without shortening the deadline. The prevalence of stress in 7 studies with a total sample size of 1084 was 29.6% (95% confidence limit: 24.3-35.4), and the prevalence of hysteria in 17 studies with a sample size of 65,439 was 32.9% (95% confidence). LevelInterval: 27.6–36.6), therefore, the prevalence of depression in 14 studies with a sample size of 44,531 and 33.7% (95% confidence interval: 27.5–40.6). COVID19 not only causes physical health problems, but also causes various mental disorders. The epidemic of the new coronavirus can affect the mental health of individuals in some communities. Therefore, it is essential to develop psychological interventions that maintain people's mental health and improve the mental health of vulnerable groups during the COVID 19 pandemic.
