Title

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT : Linking Economy, Society, Environment

Authors

Abstract

The essential phrase that is currently being discussed everywhere is "sustainable development." It has developed into a broad phrase that may be used to describe virtually every aspect of life on Earth, from local to global scales and throughout a range of historical periods. The natural resources of the globe are under attack from all sides. As the number of people on Earth has grown, natural ecosystems have suffered, and disruptions in the harmony of natural cycles have a detrimental effect on both people and other living systems. Motivating people to participate in community action and ensuring public engagement in environmental protection and management initiatives must be the most crucial tasks for sustainable development. Living more sustainably can take many different forms, such as restructuring living arrangements (e.g., eco-villages, eco-municipalities, and sustainable cities), reevaluating economic sectors (perm culture, green building, sustainable agriculture), or work practices (sustainable architecture). It can also take the form of utilizing science to develop new technologies (green technology, renewable energy), or it can involve alterations in personal life styles that preserve natural resources. This paper's major goal is to explore the strategies for laying the groundwork for development that is more environmentally and economically sustainable.
