Title

Experimental and Computational Study of studies of Thienopyridine Derivatives

Abstract

Thienopyridine derivatives provide an antioxidant protective effect that may contribute to their pharmacological activities. The antioxidant properties of thienopyridine are known to be influenced to a greater extent by the aryl structures of the substitutions on aryl rings. Especially, the free radical donor substituents were one of the key groups to enhance greatly the antioxidant activity of thienopyridine mainly due to its easy conversion to phenoxy radicals through the hydrogen atom transfer mechanism.
