Most people don’t take security very seriously in this fast-growing market of the internet, everything is moving online and generating millions and millions of data every second around the world. At the beginning of 2020, the pandemic devastated our lives and all the necessities of our lives become virtual. From our education, shopping, entertainment even healthcare was online. This new norm brought about a lot of breaches, attacks, malicious activities and made the work of hackers and malicious actors very easy. New and improved ways to counter the security issues and differentiate between legitimate users and illegitimate are being implemented, but are not enough. In this survey paper, we review different security measures, access controls, security in different domains of the computer environment, this will have a significant part in the medical field. A deep dive into the world of security for the system that handles millions and millions of people's medical records, its shortcomings, which technologies are being utilized, and what can be done to improve the area of study.
