From the beginning of civilization, God created both men and women. Both men and women are moving the civilization forward. But the reality is that the status and status of women has varied throughout history. In the ancient Vedic period women were treated as equals but in the later Vedic period women were treated like animals. The status of women has changed in different periods. 50% of the total population of the entire world is women. But in India this ratio is decreasing. India is a patriarchal society. Here I am physically strong, able to work hard. control over access to male power; wealth and resources. And women are often expected to leave their normal homes and join their in-laws. From ancient times to modern times, girls did not get their due rights. In this paper, the status of women in India at different times is discussed and the challenges faced by women in modern India are also mentioned here.
