Title

A STUDY ON SIX SIGMA AND USERS SATISFACTION OF NESS WADIA COLLEGE OF COMMERCE, PUNE-1

Abstract

The soul objective of any library, make possible efforts to achieve the goals and objectives of the parent organization by catering need of the users. A periodical review and evaluation of collection and services of the library is highly essential to provide effective and efficient library services. It is crucial to design and develop library services which will assure maximum users satisfaction. The concept of six-sigma is to eliminate defects and can be applied in library field to maximize the user’s satisfaction by eliminating their complaints and problems. The aim of this paper is study the six sigma application in the library as a tool, to provide efficient services to the clientele of Ness Wadia College of Commerce, Pune. For collection of data a questionnaire based survey method will be adopted. It can be conclude that applying six sigma technique, the library staff will come to know its lacking areas and will be helpful for improvement in better services.
