Title

Determine the significant relationship between perceived innovation attributes and adoption of energy efficient electronic products in Madhya Pradesh

Abstract

The study attempt to focus to determine the significance relationship between perceived innovations attributes and adoption of energy efficient electronic products in Madhya Pradesh state of India, which is situated nearly centre of India locked by land. BEE star rating is an energy efficient standard for electronic product in India. In our study we considered electronic products with energy efficient star rating. It was a qualitative research by the using a survey through a welled designed questionnaire in five major cities of Madhya Pradesh these are Gwalior, Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, Jabalpur. The study based on Roger’s theory of diffusion of innovation. We considered four perceived innovation attributes (factors) among five which were given in roger theory of innovation to measure the significance relationship between perceived attributes and adoption of energy saving electronics goods. We find out that perceived relative advantage, compatibility, complexity had significant and positive relationship whereas perceived observability shown insignificant and negative relationship.
